Welcome to the Warrington branch of the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC). We hope to keep our Members up to date on all club news and upcoming events, while providing the opportunity for prospective members to find out about our Club and its many and varied activities.
Here at Warrington Riding Club, Club Members have the superb advantage of being able to avail of the fantastic facilities at Warrington Top Flight Equestrian Centre, Bennettsbridge Road, Co. Kilkenny, run by the Moloney family who have been involved in all aspects of the horse industry for many years, and who have all competed nationally and internationally representing Ireland in Showjumping and Eventing.
Throughout the year, you have the unique opportunity to represent our Club at local, Regional and National events, whatever your grade or discipline. Each year, we have Members competing at the Dublin Horse Show, the AIRC National Championships, and the various regional leagues and events run throughout the year which cater for all levels and disciplines. On top of that, we run Schooling & Day Trips, Weekend Training Camps and a variety of Social Events throughout the year to help build Club comradery and have some fun along the way!
Each week, we run Training Events, Lessons and Clinics for Members using the superb facilities at Warrington Top Flight Equestrian Centre. These include:
⚜ a huge all-weather outdoor sand arena laid by Equestrian Surfaces Ireland, furnished with a complete set of FEI showjumps
⚜ one large indoor arena for winter use (and the odd rainy day)
⚜ expansive grass arenas for summer use
⚜ a cross-country training course to suit all riding levels
⚜ scenic hacks along the banks of the River Nore & the Nore Valley Walk
⚜ full access to canteen & toilet facilities and the renowned Warrington Top Flight Tack Shop, which stocks all the leading brands - Horseware, Pikeur, Kingsland, Ariat, Samshield, KEP - and more!
Each week, here in Warrington, Members have the option to take part in a variety of Lessons and Training Clinics given by a variety of top-class instructors which are tailored to suit all:
- Beginner / Novice Adult Lessons with Roberta Dowley BHS / Mags Hoban BHS to suit riders up to Advanced Intermediate level Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm
- Showjumping and Competition Training Clinics with Marie and Ellie Moloney for riders of all levels (AP and above) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings
- Cross Country Training, Treks and Hacking by the River Nore and along the Nore Valley Walk available to suit all levels of rider, AP and above (advance booking required).
